TODDLERS (0-4)

At Hope Church Sutton we want all of the children to feel fully part of the church as well as have age-specific teaching to help them know Jesus and live for him in their everyday lives.

Each week at our 10 am Sunday church service, children of all ages start the service with the adults so they get to experience an all-age church. After approximately 10 minutes the children go out to their age-specific groups. For children aged 0-4 (birth to pre-school), we have our 'Hope Tots' group. Every couple of months we also have special all-age church services which are shorter and designed to engage the children as well as the adults.

 

At our 12pm service there are not any classes specifically for birth to pre school age children. However there will babe toys left out in the Tots room that you can play with your child.

Each of our Sunday children's groups will:

• Have age-specific Bible teaching which aims at both understanding and applying it to their everyday lives

• Sing child-friendly worship songs

• Play age-specific games and crafts

Safe Guarding:

• We are careful to keep to government-recommended adult-to-child ratios in all of our children's groups.

• All of our children's leaders have been fully DBS checked with the government's child protection regulation body and follow the Co-Mission Safeguarding Policy.
